3-Axis Gimbals
General Description
EPL offers the GIM-3X25-4-F, a multi-axis gimbal which is fully qualified for space use.
The gimbal is compatible with standard stepper motor driver cards. Gimbal control is performed by either customer-developed code or software available from EPL.
Other gimbal sizes for larger payloads are available as custom products.

Bringing More Control to Your Spacecraft
Seen on the left is a customer GIM-3X25-4-F with a Hall Thruster and Thermal Interface Plate. The gimbal steers the thruster to manage angular momentum build-up over the course of the mission in addition to thrust vector control when required.
